It is great for new spring foliage and grass and can be used extensively for mixing. Academy Watercolor is a collegiate line of 60 paints at an affordable price. Only finely ground pigments are used in making this smooth, rich paint. Either straight from the tube or when mixed with white, strokes and washes are vibrant and luminescent. Phthalo Green - PG7. Transparent, high intensity green with blue undertones. A good alternative to Viridian that does not typically granulate except when mixed with various other pigments, it can create granulating foliage greens and landscape colors. Made in the USA and sold at an affordable price.
